Wedding Photographer Lowers Prices in 2009!

You’re probably saying to yourself right now…Yeah Right! That would never happen! But read on and you’ll see it’s true.

Here’s how we are able to do this.

At the end of each year, we always take a look at what has worked and what hasn’t over the past year in our wedding photography business in an effort to run our business more efficiently and cost effectively.

We research better ways to do things and use information from various sources as well as feedback from our past wedding clients as to what they liked, what they would like and what they need from a wedding photographer. We listen to our clients and we are constantly trying to improve our services, and products to give you the very most for your investment in us. This is only part of how we go “above and beyond” to serve you better.

We have closely analyzed our business practices in 2008, we have entered into some new partnerships with labs and other companies and we have also streamlined our studio services without losing anything (or anyone) important.

It’s because of this and also because we know that we are all feeling the current economic crunch that we have been able to rearrange our wedding photography packages and we have been able to lower our prices for our 2009 wedding photography services.

What’s even better about this is that instead of getting LESS, now each of our packages will include MORE than what we were able to offer before! That is an incredible feat for us and we are very excited and happy to be able to do this.

Our 2009 wedding packages will all still include, coverage, proofs, and an album, all which we can customize to better suit your needs, style and budget.

Sure, we could have just kept more money for ourselves, but we really want your business! So instead we chose to pass the savings on to our wedding clients.

We are really excited to be able to provide our couples with better services, cooler technology, quality albums and lower prices in 2009 thanks to these new partnerships. We will also continue to evaluate our services, our partnerships with current companies and our own business practices to provide you with the most value for your wedding photography investment.

So if you’re looking for a wedding photographer or you know anyone who is, send them to us for top notch, professional and personal services. Contact us at: 508-216-5898 or via e-mail at: for more information about our wedding photography services.

In 2010 we will continue to strive to offer the best possible services and keep our value up and our prices reasonable.

Thank you for considering us for your professional wedding photography needs! We hope to be able to help you “Discover the beauty in your world” in 2009 and beyond.

At your service,
Ed Diaz

Salem Cross Inn Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield, Mass.
I had not been to the Inn before so when I paid my first visit a few weeks before the wedding day, I was delighted to see how beautiful it was.
From the moment you pull into the drive and park your vehicle, you are transported back in time to a different era.
Old Victorian living at it’s best was the feel of this venue for me. Everything from the old wagons out in the fields, to the open cooking fireplaces and antiquities throughout the entire place reminds us of how special and precious items from the past are. Looking at certain pieces can instantly bring you back to those days, or make you wonder how it must have been “back in the day.”
The ceremony was held outside even though only one hour before the ceremony, the sky had opened up and dropped bucket-loads of rain on the grounds. But the rainstorm went by fairly quickly and the Bride was determined to still hold the ceremony outside. Good thing, because the Sun came out just before the ceremony began. So, it turned out to be a beautiful ceremony, on a beautiful day, with a beautiful couple, at a beautiful venue.
Although we did not stay for the entire reception, we did cover the first portion of it. On the inside, the Inn is equally beautifully antique and furnished with many items from our history as well. The lighting was quite challenging from a photographers point of view due to the low light lamps that were available back then, but we made the best of it. That is one of the reasons I always visit the venue prior to the wedding day.
To Joe & Elin, thanks so much for choosing us (over all the other photographers in this area) from your home all the way over in Santa Monica, CA, to photograph the celebration of your love for each other. It has been an honor.
Next time you’re in MA, look us up!
Best wishes!

Arrowhead Acres Wedding

Arrowhead Acres Weddings are great if you want an outdoor environment for your celebration. There is a beautiful area with a gazebo where you can recite your vows and then a short walk later arrive at a very cute bridge for your formal portraits.

I captured these two lovebirds by the bridge and I just had to share the images with you all. You can really see and feel the love between them in these photographs. That is what makes my job so special and makes me feel good about what I do.

Now this couple can look back at these photos many years from now and still remember all the fun they had on their wedding day. Each wedding I photograph presents a new and interesting challenge and I welcome it with open arms.

Here are just some of their many photographs taken near the bridge outside the reception hall.

Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!

Katie & Kevin, thanks so much for the opportunity to capture your wedding celebration. It was lots of fun! I am looking forward to customizing your wedding album.

Keep in touch!

Wachusett Mountain Wedding

Hi everyone!

Here are some images from a recent wedding at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA.

It is a Ski Resort during the Winter months, but in the Summer they use it for many events and private wedding celebrations.

It is a beautiful place to have a wedding as you can see. The newlywed couple can ride via ski-lift to the summit and have their photo taken… On top of the world.

There are many other places here which are also really great for photographs and the banquet hall is decorated very nicely. The staff was very nice to work with and laid-back.

If you are looking for a place to have your wedding celebration, check them out.

I had a lot of fun at this wedding! Both the bride and groom are great people and their families were too. They chose good entertainment, good food and good company.

Scott & Melissa, thanks for choosing us to photograph your wedding. It was an honor. I am looking forward to designing and delivering your beautiful, custom wedding album soon.

Best wishes to you both!

Crestview Country Club Wedding

December 29, 2007

A helping hand is something we all could use from time to time.

This is exactly what I had the pleasure and opportunity to do.

My friend Alice who is also a professional photographer asked me to give her a helping hand (as a 2nd photographer) for this very nice couple, Cami & Kenny who got married at the Crestview Counrty Club in Agawam, Ma. I accepted (with pleasure) and we had a great time photographing this couple’s Winter themed wedding.

Even though it was cold outside, the bride wanted to have some photos taken outside in the snow.

With the right location, the right lighting and the right couple, Winter weddings can be beautiful! These are just a few of the many photos that I took of this lovely couple. There were many more great ones taken by Alice from her own angle and her own perspective. You see,
the great thing about having two photographers at your wedding is that each of us have a unique vision of what photo we want to get and even though we are at the same place, photographing the same couple, at the same time, the results are different because we each incorporate our own style of photography into our work.
Alice & I worked very intuitively together and that made everything turn out right. We had a natural flow throughout the day, as if we had been working together for years. It was great!

Well, this was the last wedding of 2007 that I photographed and I just can’t wait to begin the 2008 wedding season!

I have a lot of new ideas, new sources for inspiration and new skills that I can’t wait to apply to this years photography.

In the meantime, I’ll be brushing up on my skills, taking some new classes and keeping track of what’s new in photography and technology.

To the Bride & Groom: Cami and Kenny, I want to wish you the very best! May you always find love in each others eyes, just as your photos show you did on your wedding day.

Alice, thanks very much for asking me to give you a hand. It was lots of fun and I would be delighted to work with you again in ’08!
Thank you all for visiting my blog!
Check back soon!

1st Gay Wedding

07/07/07: The Day Everyone wanted to get married!
While this was not my very first wedding it was my first gay wedding…which (as you might have guessed) made me soooooo nervous! For this one my nerves started acting up about one week before. Seriously! I am begining to think that this is going to be the norm for me. I sure hope not because a don’t like feeling this way. My wife Cathy tells me that it’s because I want so much for everything to go right (it’s a good thing she says). Well it doesn’t feel too good to me.
Stacy Teller and Margit Evans…two of the nicest women I have ever met! They found my information on-line (they live in Smyrna, Tennessee) and we spoke on the phone. That first phone call must have been for about an hour! We hit-it-off right away and (I found out later) Margit knew before she hung up the phone with me that she wanted to hire me to shoot their wedding.
They booked me and then made arrangements to meet with me when they came up here to book the venue and speak with the Pastor of the Church where they would be married (in North Truro, MA)
So, on that day Sunday, May 6, 2007 I met them at Logan Airport in Boston. I was sitting in the waiting area of Baggage Claim awaiting their arrival. That day we were going to talk about the details of their wedding day, choose a wedding album for their package AND I shot their Engagement photos as well. WHEW! What a really Great, Fun, Happy, Stressful day that was for me. We bonded that day even more and by the end of the night we were all very excited and anxious about the wedding.
It was a beautiful day, a beautiful ceremony and a beautiful experience for me. I hope that I was able to make it just as special for both of them too.
Here are only a few of the many, many images that are my favorites from this day. Enjoy!
Stacy & Margit, best wishes and look me up when you come back up this way for your anniversary! xxxoooxxx
